Dear competitors,
The preliminary round has come to an end. The list of semifinalists will be posted at a later date. To those who have made it into the semifinals, we offer our sincerest congratulations. To those who have not, thank you for participating in VBC 2009.
In response to some requests from a few masochists, I’ve decided to leave the game running (after wiping everything, of course) as a funserver for people to play for fun. No pressure to win, because none of these results will be considered for semifinal entry (i.e. your placings are already fixed). Enjoy attempting to break my model with irrational behavior! 
If you’re wondering, the time delay between the end of the game and the release of semifinal results is because the people in charge of running the game are considering opening up the semifinals to more people. Don’t worry, we kept a record of people’s rankings. We will tell you when everything is finalised!

Hello to all VBC Competitors,
I am sure it has been a long and exasperating wait for VBC 2009 to kick-off,and we are proud to announce that the long-awaited VBC prelimanary round with start on this coming Monday, 13/04/2009, 20:00 hrs (8pm).
We will also be opening the game to all registered teams for a round of trial-out, allowing teams to familiarize with this new interface and look out for the key mechanisms of the game. The trial-out will start on this Saturday 1200 until Sunday 2400 and all teams can feel free to log-in any time to make yourself comfortable during this period of time. Do note that all results churned out during the trial-out will not be taken into account for during the real game and all teams will begin from the same start-point on Monday.

To all students participating in VBC,
This is a reminder for you to attend an important competitor’s briefing. Here are the details:
Important information regarding the competition will be disseminated. This includes the rules, features and some strategies about the game. We’ll be providing hard copies of the game manual and the training ppt slides.
At least one member of the team must be present for the briefing. Each team must pay a registration fee S$8 on the day. Please bear in mind that only those teams who have paid will have access to the game portal. To facilitate the collection, please pay in exact amount.
Please be seated in the Auditorium by 1500 sharp. Collection of fees will also be done before the briefing.
